ZOR DIY kit for mounting the powerful forward facing pitman arm aka forward steer saginaw box from mid 80s Astro Vans. The most powerful and dependable power steering for your Samurai. The forward steer pitman arm gives ample spacing for both the Suzuki or Toyota drag link and tie rod for moving the axle forward up to 10". Pinky finger power steering that will not fade with bigger tires. This Saginaw box can also be tapped for hydro-assist.

The "C" kit requires NO welding, cutting OR drilling. YouTube instructions walk you through the entire process. The MY-Turn engine PS pump mounting brackets will be available again from ZOR for mounting TC style pumps like the serpentine Jeep Cherokee pumps, PSC or Trail-Gear TC style.

The "B" kit is for those who purchased the original bolt on kit "A" The bar must be welded to the back of the bolt on Astro Plate.

NOTE: Radiator has to be moved over towards passenger for box clearance. When removing Astro van box from junkyard vehicle AVOID any AWD Astro Vans. Use only the two wheel drive version. Hoses can be easily made with provided information AN fittings and 3000 lb psi hose OR you can use standard ps style hoses that cost more. AN fittings and hoses are easy to assemble.

Msg from Myron:

1985-1990 the correct box has exposed steering linkage that you must obtain from firewall down to box. Reman boxes do not come with pitman arm, lock washer or shaft nut.

If you see the linkage is wrapped in a plastic shroud that’s the wrong box.

NEVER GET AN AWD ASTRO BOX. It’s bigger than the 2 wd rear steering boxes.
